Mid March starts the ren faire craziness.

I dread this time of the year every year. It's a time to sit and think that I made that last after the ren faire last year and I haven't gotten anything done on it. Lossing my jobs in Jan hasn't made it easy for me to get ahead for this years faire. I'm going to try to look at the brighter side of things. I am going to become a crafting fool. This past weekend was bow. This week/weekend is going to be costume for everyone (this includes everyone and the dogs that will be going).

A semi busy weekend leads to...

Lots of creepy crawlies. Okay maybe these aren't so creepy. I enjoy making them almost as much as shopping for the beads. On next weekends list...beaded scorpions. :)

Getting things organized for the new year.

I've been taking tally of what I have and trying to get my sewing area organized. I've gotten a few patterns set aside that I'd like to start working on. I think this week I will bite the bullet and cut into my wool interlock. I've been daydreaming of simply natural wool rompers. We shall see what happens. Maybe if I like the natural ones I'll venture into swirl dying. I've been brainstorming color combos: red,yellow and orange or blue,yellow and green or pink, purple and green.

Get ready for the christmas rush...

I only have to work my swing job this week so I will get to spend alot of time crafting. I have plans to get some belly bands made for Quinn to cut down on the marking he does in my moms during the day. And then I have a blanket for my mom for christmas that I'd really like to have done by mid week so that I can give it to her on Christmas.
I plan on having my first stocking on facebook the first week in Jan (not sure what day yet) and I'd like to get as much mad as I can. I'll try to be back with pics daily. :)

My semi productive week.

I hate not being about to be a home with my sewing machine during the day so I've had to find things to keep my busy when the boy is watching movies or playing Cars on the Wii. Here are a few things I've gotten done this week.

I can't wait for tomorrow. I have next week off from babysitting due to holiday break and I get to sew. :)

Love the fabric store conversations.

I love getting asked if I am working on quilts and such when I'm out getting wipes fabric. When I tell them that I'm making wipes I get some of the strangest looks. I can't wait until I can have some examples with me to show them diapers and the wipes. :giggle:

Love this fabric....but

I can't bring myself to cute into any of it. I have a few HTF diaper cuts that arent in the picture that I can't even bring myself to use either. I need to stop hoarding and actually use some of this yummy stuff.
